The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost yet another game against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football. After the leading Bucs called their consecutive losses an unfamiliar territory, the Pirates continue to struggle. So much so that the legendary Buccaneers linebacker, Warren Sapp, spoke out against the gameplay choices of the captain of the team. He also proposed a harsh consequence for an inadequate play.

Devin White, the 24-year-old fifth overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, was the player who made the first-ballot Hall of Famer upset. The reason was the NFC player of the month of September loafed toward Demarcus Robinson. He jogged impassively in the direction of the Baltimore Ravens wide receiver while standing in the middle of the defense.

This angered Snapp, who took it to his Instagram account to express his disdain. Sapp announced the play while narrating a videotape of it. “All right, third-and-9, 10-10 game.” He said that according to Tony Dungy, there are five plays in a game that determine the outcome.

“I want you to watch the effort of the captain right here, No. 45 (White). I want you to watch the captain. How do you show up with your defense on Monday morning with this type of effort? I’d ask for your ‘C’ off your chest. … Are you kidding me right now? What is that?” he added. Although the veteran LB found faults with the gameplay, Todd Bowles, Bucs’ HC, played White’s defense. To him, he did not see any loafing.
