For the past few days, Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians abruptly retiring from his coach job has been a matter of discussion. Experts claim that Arians’ departure is the result of a rumored rift between them. But the Buccaneers’ general manager has something else to say on the matter.

Indeed, it was shocking news for all the Buccaneer fans worldwide. Brady coming out of his retirement and Arians leaving his position happened in just a few days, leaving fans to fabricate their theories. While talking to Rich Eisen on his talk show, Jason Licht opened up about the discussion.

Jason Licht’s take on the Arians-Brady relationship

After establishing himself as a formidable coach in the history of the NFL, Bruce Arians left the position for his assistant Todd Bowles on Thursday. He claimed to have no regrets and was fully satisfied with his decision; however, leaving room for the fans to speculate on a possible rift with Brady.

Well, what people don’t know, is that Arians often cuss every player on the team. “We have a great relationship, All the players, every one of them has gotten cussed out, including him (Tom Brady). That’s just part of me” Arians revealed his habit during the Bucs’ good-bye conference for him.

Similarly, Jason Licht in his appearance on the Rich Eisen show said, “Bruce likes go cus out every player.” Apart from that Brady and Arians maintained a phenomenal relationship for years. The general manager also added that Arians and Brady were always great friends, and they continue to be one, as per his conscience, nothing has happened as such leading Arians to leave his job.

Licht calls all the allegations baseless rumors brewed by the people. Well, his comments justified the recent responses from Brady. As soon as Arians announced his retirement, the NFL legend was quick to bid him a warm goodbye and list all the great works he had done for the team.

As Licht had rightly mentioned, the veteran carried cussing the players as a habit. Nothing offensive, but that’s how Arians operate, whether it is Brady or any other person, he never cares!

On a similar note, Arians vowed to carry forward his habit and alerted his players to maintain discipline without screwing things up. “Now, before you start thinking this is goodbye, it isn’t. I’ll still be around the offices and available to cuss you out when you screw things up on the practice field” Arians shared the message through his thankyou letter.

After Arians made his transition to the front office, Todd Bowles received an opportunity to establish himself as a head coach for the second time in his career.
