After displaying a great play against the Bills, Baker Mayfield proved himself to be a worthy candidate for the starting position over Sam Darnold. Just after the match, he spoke to the reporters, saying that he was eagerly waiting for the week 1 game, and used cuss words to address the situation.

Moreover, the three-time Pro-Bowler mentioned that he will use this as a motivation to face his former teammate on the other side of the field.

Who knows?” he said to the reporters.

So it becomes an unsaid responsibility for Mayfield to give it back and prove his worth as one of the best signal-callers in the league.
