Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Cincinnati Bengals in thrilling fashion on Sunday as they booked their seat at Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona. A semi-injured Mahomes weathered through to get the 23-20 win in the dying moments. However, Bengals fans were not happy with his wife Brittany Mahomes, and her cheerleading.

The Mahomes family was present in full swing to root for Pat at the AFC Championship game. And Brittany documented moments from the win at Arrowhead and posted a video to her Instagram. However, fans were not interested in her celebration and wanted her to thank the refs instead.

Patrick Mahomes running for the last first-down drive may have had something to do with it. With 13 seconds left on the clock and the game tied at 20-20 and heading to overtime, Patrick did what he does best. Show clutch. Mahomes didn’t find an open receiver and ran with the ball instead. Not only did he achieve the desired first down, but he got way more than that.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Joseph Ossai tackled Mahomes when he was out of bounds and got an unnecessary roughness penalty of 15 yards. This brought the Chiefs into easy field goal territory. And Harrison Butker didn’t disappoint as he clinched the winning FG.

The ‘Who Dey’ chants quickly turned to ‘bad officiating’ screams, as the Bengals fans didn’t think the game-changing penalty was a fair call.
