The NFL star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has been well received by the Los Angeles Rams since following his inclusion in the franchise on Thursday, he will play the Monday night fixture against the San Francisco 49ers.
NFL analyst Adam Schefter broke the news out on Saturday as he announced that, “The #Rams will get Odell Beckham Jr on the field Monday, and they’ll target him. Expect a handful of plays, maybe a bit more.” Since his “fellow Rams wideout Robert Woods suffered a torn ACL in Friday’s practice, that will bring his 2021 season to an end.”

OBJ to debut against San Francisco 49ers
Beckham joining the Rams came out as a surprise to the NFL community since his disappointing experience of not receiving the ball from Baker Mayfield in the Cleveland Browns led him to join a team that was already flooded with wide receivers. It was believed that OBJ won’t be a consistent target for the quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Between the wideout lineup of Woods, Cooper Kupp, Van Jefferson and Tyler Higbee, it appeared that the three-time Pro Bowler will again be disappointed with the lack of passes. However, that dilemma is now out of the window since, after Robert Woods’ season-ending ACL injury, OBJ is expected to take up his spot, making him the kind of target he deserves to be.

“It’s an opportunity for us as a team, it’s an opportunity for him to come in here and prove himself to us,” Stafford said Thursday. “What our room is about in the receiver room is pretty special. I know he’ll fit right in and just continue to get better, and hopefully it will help us as a team.”

Stafford‘s perception of the receiver being a perfect fit for the Rams is absolutely correct. OBJ made a brand out of himself during his first three seasons with the New York Giants. He was considered being the NFL’s best playmaker since he recorded 288 catches for 4,122 yards and 35 touchdowns across 43 appearances with the Giants.

Although his tenure with the Browns was stagnant and injurious. However, it’s believed that he is going to set the NFL ablaze AGAIN with them starting Monday. It is time for OBJ to prove to his doubters that he has a lot of football left in him.
