Moreover, this signing gives additional versatility alongside Clyde Edwards-Helaire in the running back unit. This also provides Patrick Mahomes with many carriers qualified to make big plays.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero expects the Chiefs to sign former Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones II to a one-year deal after a successful meeting with the franchise. The Insider also mentions that Jones can earn up to $5 Million in Kansas City.
Although, some sources also state that the quill has touched the paperwork on an agreement between the two parties.

After 4 seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Ronald Jones, 24, enters the fray. Jones’ football career had a shaky start after the Bucs took him in the second-round pick out of USC in the 2018 draft. During Jones’ four seasons in Tampa Bay, he showed a ton of potential and talent, but constancy was an obstacle.

Throughout his 4 year-run in Tampa, Ronald Jones ran 488 attempts for 2,174 yards, with 4.5 yards per carry. He also recorded 76 receptions, 18 rush TDs, and 1 receiving touchdown.
