Since arriving in the NFL four years ago, McCaffrey has established himself as one the best running backs in the league alongside Derrick Henry, Saquon Barkley, Nick Chubb and Alvin Kamara. However, he’s been dealt a rough hand by the football gods in the last 2 years.

His latest hamstring injury will see him miss a crucial phase of the Panthers’ season. Matt Rhule’s boys will go up against Minnesota Vikings and the New York Giants over the next two game weeks.

Darnold’s displays in his debut season in Carolina are nothing short of impressive. Backup RB Chuba Hubbard also put in a spirited display in the 21-18 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last weekend. Hopefully, he can step up in the absence of Christian and help his team make the playoffs.
