Tom Brady is known for his longevity at the elite level in football. He has taken care of his body in a manner nobody else has. But all that couldn’t help him get over the line in the NFC wildcard playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys. And an NFL legend has bitten his head off after crashing out of the postseason on the first hurdle.
Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe has been critical of Brady almost the entire season. And the QB’s latest loss invited a scathing remark from the Denver Broncos legend.

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers took on the Cowboys in the NFC wildcard game on Monday Night Football. And they crumbled again, failing to put points on the board in the entire first half. In the end, they left too big a mountain to climb for themselves and suffered a heavy loss.
Brady’s loss invited sharp criticism from the Broncos legend Shannon Sharpe, who mocked the QB’s diet, of all things.
“Brady is going to weigh 300 lbs after this gm. All these empty calories haven’t eaten anything nutritious all gm,” Sharpe tweeted with a few laughing face emojis.
Brady takes a special diet called the TB12 diet. This eating plan excludes dairy, gluten, coffee, and many such things. The diet is mainly plant-based and high in protein. The only animal product that Brady eats is fish, a source of lean protein. This diet has helped him play at the age of 45. But the eight bring will have to wait as he and the Buccaneers fell to the Cowboys.
The Cowboys end the TB12 dream
Tom Brady came out of retirement at the start of the season to win his eighth Super Bowl title. The Buccaneers struggled all season but somehow managed to make it to the playoffs. But that is the farthest they can go this season.

The Cowboys QB Dak Prescott scored four touchdowns in the air and 305 passing yards. Brady had more passing yards with 351 but only scored two touchdowns in the whole game. And he threw a crucial interception that may have probably decided the game against the opposition.

While Brady will head home now, Prescott will head toward the bay area to take on the San Francisco 49ers. The seven-time Super Bowl champion might come back with a different franchise to have a crack again. But where he will go next remains a mystery.
