Just after 17 days of Brady returning to the NFL, head coach Bruce Arians stepped out of his position. This abrupt decision was soon to mire several conspiracy theories and media outlets were keen to speculate about a possible rift in the TB-BA relationship. One of them was the Boston World’s, Dan Shaughnessy. He questioned the media outlets for hiding Brady’s alleged role in the Arians’ retirement.
What does Dan Shaughnessy have to say about Tom Brady & Bruce Arians?
The Boston media was blaming Tom Brady and the media outlets for covering the QBs fingerprints in Brice Arians’ abrupt retirement. Dan Shaughnessy had this to say, in an item questioning why so many people still root for Brady: “Why do so many folks cover for Tom? Watching the obtuse ESPN gang ignore Tom’s fingerprints on Arians’ cold body (I think I saw an Arian’s chalk outline on the pavement outside Raymond James Stadium) made my head explode.”
The former New England Patriots general manager Upton Bell joined with Shaughnessy in a similar note, “This whole Arians thing was Tom Brady-orchestrated,” Bell added to his statement.

Meanwhile, ESPN’s Mike Greenberg did not budge from reacting to the allegations. In his famous show #Greeny, Greenberg read out the entire note written by the Boston columnist. He said that Brady choosing a better coach other than Bruce Arians is completely normal. According to him, Arians is not the kind of coach who can’t be replaced. In fact, he is a great person with significant achievements in his career. His work on prioritizing minority coaches and women coaches in the NFL staff is commendable.

He also speculated that Brady wanted to play for another team, but the Buccaneers were in no mood to release the star quarterback. While Arians was the head coach, Brady was not comfortable playing under him. Well, the entire crux of the story is that some choose to believe Brady is blameless. While others choose to believe Brady got what he wanted.
Rich Eisen weighs on Brady-Arians rumors
Just days after the Buccaneers’ Jason Licht quashed all the rumors, Rich Eisen was the latest media person to offer his opinion on the matter. He put forward a series of valid points that justified the Arians’ retirement. Also Brady’s presence at the Bucs’ press conference.

According to Eisen, Bruce Arians is a future Hall of Famer coach. He is one of the most accomplished people in the history of the NFL. The Buccaneers wouldn’t get a better coach than him. Moreover, Brady asking him to retire makes no sense because the quarterback won a Super Bowl ring under him.
