Adam Vinatieri retired in 2021 after scoring a record number of career points. Moreover, Vinatieri showed remarkable longevity by playing for 24 seasons. After a distinguished career, the former Indianapolis Colts player has embarked on a new fitness journey.

The four-time Super Bowl Winner, who was a teammate of Tom Brady, is inching close to 51 but refuses to slow down with age. In March 2023, the match-winning kicker joined his son AJ Vinatieri for a quick gym session. The duo followed Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s chest and tricep workout method. The former player looked shredded in the YouTube video, thus amazing fans with his physique transformation.

In an impromptu interview session at the gym, AJ asked his dad about the motivational factors that nudged him into fitness rather than unwinding.

I just feel like I’m getting older and I didn’t want to get that dad bod, and kind of got out of the shower one day and said ‘I can make this look better’,” replied Vinatieri.

Moreover, the former New England Patriots superstar did not want to lose his prime physical conditioning and stamina. Vinatieri also liked flaunting his body. He said, “And it’s fun in the summertime taking your shirt off and being proud of what you got.”

Even former teammate Tom Brady would approve of the reverse physical transformation. He looks ready to shatter some more NFL records. It is not uncommon to witness athletes improve themselves with age. Bodybuilding legend Jay Cutler is also one such person.
