The QB was involved in the rescue of passengers from a helicopter that crashed into the Bay.
Gabbert and his brothers were lauded as heroes in this rescue. But, how was the QB instrumental in this situation?

A humble Gabbert didn’t think that the incident would be brought to the media’s attention, saying he was only trying to do the right thing. The helicopter that made the emergency water landing consisted of three passengers alongside the pilot. Gabbert and his brothers loaded them onto their jet skis and gave them a ride back to shore.

Thankfully, no one involved in the crash was seriously hurt. Gabbert stated that first responders promptly arrived and what could’ve been an unfortunate situation became a positive one. Fans online remarked on Gabbert’s heroics and showed their appreciation.
Brady’s teammate is humble amidst applause from the NFL world
The NFL world lauded the quarterback’s actions and praised his quick thinking. It’s not often that a player from the league is involved in something as big as rescuing people. While fans are used to the heroics of players on the field, this incident is something that will be appreciated by everyone. The Tampa Bay community will be grateful for the QB and his brothers’ presence of mind and reaction to the situation. Gabbert did not forget the actions of local law enforcement and responders, as he thanked them during his press conference. The NFL’s official Twitter handle appreciated the QB’s efforts by saying.
