Disappointed Jerry Jones gives the Cowboys a reality check

Jones did not hold back. He expressed his discontent with his team and how they will have to do a lot better to play against Brady. Furthermore, he also had words for his golden boy, Dak Prescott. The GM mentioned that he believed his team could do a lot better than this. He mentioned that there is no need for motivation for the next week and said, “I think you can make a case I’m not so sure what is the most motivational thing a week before you go out there I know this we didn’t rest anybody so everybody got to bite this sour apple.” and drove his point home.

Furthermore, the owner also had words for Prescott. He spoke about what the QB lacked and said, “everybody in this room has seen Dak play and everybody’s saying the rest of most of the rest of them quite a bit and have for years, and uh they don’t generally play that way.” The owner seemed to have criticized his favorite player on the team. This seemed very uncharacteristic of Jones, as he has always been the Prescott advocate.

A chief example of this is when Jones stood up for Prescott after they had suffered a humiliating loss against the Jaguars. However, it seems like the GM has had enough.
