The 2023 NFL season has kicked off with full throttle! The AFC division has seen the most changes with the Jets becoming an absolute powerhouse, due to Aaron Rodgers’ arrival. However, the Green Gang’s Super Bowl aspirations faced an early scare when Jermaine Johnson II had a near-miss collision with the star QB during a practice session last month, which led to a slight injury in the pinky toe.
Yet, the latest injury report tells a different story. Similarly, the Bills‘ star QB, Josh Allen, sent the Bills Mafia into a panic with an arm injury last month. However, he has been cleared to take the stage on Monday. In this article, we’ll delve into the injury statuses of various athletes from these two teams.

Bill’s safety Damar Hamlin was the top-most concern for the fans and experts, due to an unfortunate accident earlier this year, following a tackle. He suffered a cardiac arrest, but thankfully the team’s medical team was able to revive him on the field. Hamlin has made a strong comeback from this injury, with an appearance against the Colts in a preseason bout, where the Bisons excelled.
The Jets recently released their injury report as well, and there are a few players who are still listed as ‘questionable’ which could seriously derail the team. Left tackle Duane Brown, who recently had a torn rotator cuff, which he sustained during the summer, remains on the said list. Right tackle Joe Mekhi Becton, who buckled his knee during practice, also recently got diagnosed with an illness, which might sideline him for a few weeks. Running Back Breece Hall is the last player on that list, who is currently recovering from a torn ACL, which he received during his rookie campaign.
This injury report has already ignited discussions within the NFL community, while the Bills have remarkably few players on their list.

In addition to these three questionable players, there were also concerns surrounding cornerback Michael Carter II. His injury seemed to have occurred last year, while the Jets were facing the Vikings. After scoring three tackles, the CB picked up an ankle issue, which sidelined him for a while. However, he no longer remains on in injured list, which brings a much-needed respite for the fans.
The Bills also recently released their week 1 injury report and there weren’t any players listed. Micah Hyde, who was limited last week during practice, due to a back injury, has been taken off the list as well.
As this highly anticipated showdown draws near, fans are eager to see how the new and improved Jets will fare against the Bills.
