Damar had a 4-year $3.64 million contract with the Buffalo Bills before his trip to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center put him on the injury reserve list ahead of tonight’s game against New England Patriots. According to a standard split stipulated clause in Hamlin’s contract, the player’s inclusion on the IR would mean a lower rate payout to Damar.
