The Buffalo Bills hosted divisional rivals, Miami Dolphins, for a wild-card round game. The Bisons finished the season as the second seed in the AFC after the unfortunate situation surrounding Damar Hamlin. However, the team remained strong favorites to brush past the 7th seed, the Dolphins, and qualify for the Divisional Round. The team started strong with Josh Allen and the offense, looking extremely dangerous for any defense.
The Bills’ 7th overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft has been an important factor in turning their fortunes around for the past couple of years. Impressing the fans with his performance and his humble persona off the field, Allen has become quite a fan favorite. On the other hand, lately, the 26-year-old has somehow landed in trouble with his behavior on the field.

NFL on CBS shared a clip of the player from the game, where he got caught in an unfavorable situation. After getting a little from the opposition defensive tackle, Christian Wilkins, Allen pushed the Miami player right back, starting off a scuffle that led to multiple penalties.
With Miami down by 17-3, Wilkins’ and Allen’s shoving match turned into a whole kerfuffle with multiple other Bills players rushing to aid their QB. The ordeal led to numerous offsetting personal fouls on the field, causing a moment of absolute chaos.
Fans find Josh Allen in the wrong
Understandably, there were many who weren’t pleased with what happened on the field. This Twitter user found the entire scenario extremely childish for a couple of professional athletes.
How about the refs actually disqualify players for acting so unprofessional and childish. Literally carrying someone else's helmet, refusing to give it back like a kid with a toy he swiped and won't hand it to his mama

Similarly, this fan also agrees with the above assessment and calls Allen a “Baby.”

The 26-year-old picked the major brunt of the blame for things getting out of control on the field.
I think Josh Allen overreacted a little bit IMHO. But then again, I like both Wilkins and Allen not holding back, but I blame Allen on this getting out of hand because I think he overreacted just a little. Obviously led to a big deal haha

Another Twitter user called the QB ‘classless’ following the chain of events.
Classless @BuffaloBills @JoshAllenQB you don’t deserve to be in playoffs! That shouldn’t have been offset penalties. Buffalo bills should have been penalized on this play.

Even Allen’s own fans could not defend the star this time.
I really like Josh Allen, but this was a punk move by him

Bills Mafia would have been worried about the situation, they would not want their star man to get ejected from the game during this crucial period.
Damar Hamlin also sent a message to his teammates while the player recovers. The horrific injury had shaken the team to its core, but the improving Damar should serve as a motivation for the players.

Recently, Allen shared how the experience altered his life. “To see what transpired here is a crazy, crazy feeling,” Allen elaborated. “It’s something I’ve never felt before… something that I know a lot of my teammates have never felt before, and you can’t do anything about it but accept it and lean on your brothers and share that moment with them. … It’s been crazy, it’s been not fun but at the same time it’s been very validating.”
