In a recent episode of his show, ‘The Shop,’ he admits that he was considering doing sports media for basketball.

While revealing how he led to this conclusion, James states, “When I saw how much Brady signed for you’re god damn right I considered a career in media. My knowledge of the sport and being able to have my insight on the sport. I want to stay around the game forever.

It seems both Brady and James share a common love for their respective sports and remain pure competitors with an insatiable hunger to win. James has a lot of attractive options if he ever decides to explore a career in media and chop it up with analysts like Stephen A. Smith. There is also a possibility that James might eclipse Brady’s FOX deal due to his valuable brand power.

Tom Brady and his deal with FOX is a result of war for broadcasting superiority

The landscape-shifting offseason in the NFL broadcasting booths was an arms race for the best broadcasting talents. Following major changes in broadcasting lineups for ESPN, Amazon, CBS, and FOX, the tussle for his services was always bound to happen.
