After winning the Super Bowl with the LA Rams last season, the wide receiver is hungry for more. Beckham will be more inclined to go to a team that has solid chances of making it to the playoffs. So, that rules out a bunch of potential contenders. Right now, the strongest landing spots for OBJ seem to be his former team and the Cowboys. Although Beckham has and will continue having conversations with other teams, the NFL world was fascinated by the Thanksgiving faceoff between two teams vying for the WR’s attention.
The Battle for Beckham
The Dallas Cowboys took on the New York Giants on Thanksgiving day. A dominant-looking Cowboys offense carried the team to a 28-20 victory. CeeDee Lamb’s spectacular one-handed catch, which came at the right time, was a big highlight. With a stellar offence, it doesn’t seem like the Cowboys are in need of any more assistance. But owner Jerry Jones is keen on equipping his team to boost their Super Bowl chances, which he believes is a possibility.
NFL columnist Pat Leonard tweeted a report by Jay Glazer from Fox NFL Sunday. The tweet said, “FOX’s @JayGlazer just reported that Odell Beckham Jr. will visit the Dallas Cowboys on Monday, Dec. 5, and that Giants’ brass will huddle after this game and determine when an OBJ visit will happen“
With the Giants meeting OBJ after Thanksgiving, Beckham still has time to have conversations with other teams.

Beckham’s former teammate with the Rams and current Bills defensive star Von Miller is also keen on bringing the receiver to Buffalo. Miller has not been shy about recruiting OBJ. In his most recent podcast episode, Miller asked fans to be patient. He also added that it didn’t matter if OBJ was courting other teams.
He said, “Wait until he sees the Bills Mafia and what we’re doing here in Buffalo, man.” The NFL world can do nothing but sit and wait until the decision is actually made. Jerry Jones and the Cowboys have intensely pursued the wide receiver. Cowboys fans will take a huge blow if the deal ends in a bust.
