Notably, after trading McCaffrey to the Niners, the Panthers will receive a second-round, third-round, and fourth-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, and in the 2024 NFL draft, they will get a fifth-round pick. It is worth mentioning that the Niners had plenty of draft picks left since their trades during the off-season.
As for Carolina, they came back to their winning ways after dropping their star quarterback Baker Mayfield. PJ Walker played exceptionally well against the Bucs this Sunday, as the Panthers destroyed them. Meanwhile, the 49ers suffered a big loss against the Chiefs despite McCaffrey playing the game for the first time wearing a Niners jersey. After the game, the questions are already rising about whether San Francisco should have gone all out for McCaffrey.

Jones’ Cowboys are flying high at the moment
On the other hand, the Cowboys picked up another win against the Lions, and their star quarterback Dak Prescott returned to the field for the first time after missing five games due to a thumb injury. As per reports, Prescott personally asked the coaching unit that he wanted to play against the Lions, as he has a pretty great record against the Michigan side. In that game, Prescott threw 207 yards for one touchdown. Moreover, he completed 19 of 25 passes with 0 interceptions.
Meanwhile, Jones garnered some criticism regarding his comments about Prescott doing more run-pass during games. Many thought he was undermining the coaching unit, which could become troublesome in the future. Right now, they are flying high with 5 wins and 2 losses and vying for the playoffs.
