Brady announced his retirement last Tuesday. He issued a statement but did not include the name of Belichick or the Patriots. But his former head coach didn’t do the same. Bill issued a heartfelt statement for his favorite quarterback.

Despite Tom Brady not mentioning the name of his former HC or Team, Bill Belichick released a statement. It was uploaded on the New England Patriots’ official Twitter account. In the statement, the head coach praised Brady a lot.
Belichick opened up by saying, “I am privileged to have drafted and coached Tom Brady, the ultimate competitor, and winner.” Patriots were the team where Tom started his career all the way back in the year 2000. Belichick was their HC even back then. It was his decision to pick Brady as the 199th overall pick that year.

The New England Patriots head coach called Tom Brady a professional on and off the field. Bill also praised Tom for the way he carries himself. Belichick said that Brady has always carried himself with class, integrity, and kindness.
