Dallas Cowboys star quarterback Dak Prescott sustained an unfortunate calf injury in the final play of the thrilling overtime win against the New England Patriots. However, one week after the injury, the Cowboys remain optimistic about his return in the Week 8 clash with the Minnesota Vikings.

Prescott, though, is not expected to participate in the team practice on Monday. However, he will go full throttle in his training starting Wednesday, as the team wants to proceed carefully with the injury of their star QB.

It is no sign of concern for the Cowboys, as even on Saturday, Prescott was doing his rehab work, making him ahead of his progress than what the team expected him to be.
