The Packers have been really good this season. Be it racking up wins or losing players to injuries, they have been consistent in both. Despite eking out a close win against league leader Arizona Cardinals, they lost more than they won.
The GreenBay Packers against Cardinals had two casualties – tight end Robert Tonyan and running back/kick returner Kylin Hill. Unfortunately, there have been some disappointing updates on Tonyan’s injuries. It looks like the tight end is out for the season with a torn ACL.

For a side ravaged with injuries, maintaining continuity is a struggle but they have done it beautiful so far. In the first eight games, they have won seven and only lost 1 and a lot of credit for this goes to their team management. Matt LaFleur is a seasoned campaigner but even he can’t help but feel bad for his team’s injury crisis this season.
It’s the part of the game that sucks, quite frankly,” Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Friday. “I feel awful for both those guys. They put a lot into this thing. They’re tough guys to replace. I know Kylin wasn’t as involved with our offense up to this point, but certainly what he’s done on special teams is going to be tough to replace,” he explained.
jLa Fleur then explained how injuries stall the growth of players. “And then, just watching a guy like Bobby, like I mentioned last night, the growth and development of him and what he means to this football team and just knowing the number of hours and everything he puts into this game, it’s sickening for me as a coach,” he finished.
