In the latest episode of Tyreek Hill’s podcast ‘It Needed To Be Said,’ Brown made shocking revelations about his relationship with Brady and the Buccaneers. Antonio Brown revealed that Tom Brady had personally reached out to him before their infamous game against the Jets. Brady would convince Brown to suit up for the game, even though the WR admitted that he was injured at the time.

“Tom called me like, yo this week man, the Jets, man they sweet man. Imma hit you with like 10 to 12. So he gonna gas me up so you know me that’s all I need to hear, like yo you gonna throw me the ball,” Brown told Hill on the podcast.

AB revealed that he had requested the team and management to rest him in the lead-up to the playoffs, owing to his injury concerns. But Brown eventually arrived in New York to suit up for the game, allegedly influenced by Brady and the Buccaneers’ management, who convinced him that his presence on the field was crucial. But as he stepped into the Jets Stadium, Brown revealed the betrayal that he faced.

It is worth noting that this was not an isolated occurrence. Prior to joining the Buccaneers, Brown faced a series of off-field issues that marred his reputation and led to his departure from the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Oakland Raiders. However, his time in Tampa Bay was an opportunity for his redemption. Unfortunately, the underlying tensions and conflicts within the team proved too much to bear.
