It seems like the Baltimore Ravens always have a reason to celebrate, and this time is no different. With the start of the regular season just around the corner, the Ravens are generating a lot of buzz thanks to their new trades and draft picks. They are now ready to take on the Houston Texans on the field.

However, the focus is not on Odell Beckham Jr., Zay Flowers, or Lamar Jackson in this context. Rather, it is on Mark Andrews. Recently turning 28, Mark celebrated his birthday in an intriguing way. His absence may not be a complete loss, as he is accompanied by a talented supporting cast.

The Ravens didn’t shy away from wishing their favorite TE on his special day. Their recent Instagram post was a picture of Mark Andrews which had “Happy Birthday TE Mark Andrews” wishing him well and possibly hinting at his return to the game against the Texans on Sunday, Sept. 10. Although this is just speculation, the fans have high hopes for his return and for the team in addition. And why not, after a couple of stellar additions to their roster?

Andrews is going through an undisclosed injury according to sources. The All-Pro has mixed 6 practice sessions, but he returned to the practice on his birthday, giving fans a surprise instead. Thankfully, Head Coach John Harbaugh believes that there is no reason to panic. Andrews still has some time to practice before the game against the Texans.

Mark Andrews has been consistently putting up great numbers since the 2019 season, cementing his position as one of the best Tight Ends in the game, second only to Travis Kelce. Fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming game to see how the team performs with the new additions of Odell Beckham Jr. and Zay Flowers.

Andrews has been selected to the Pro Bowl three times and was named All-Pro in 2021. He had a successful season and set a record for the most receptions and reception yards. In September 2021, he extended his contract with the Ravens and became a full-time starter. Over the years, Andrews has gained a significant following among the Baltimore Ravens fans.
