While putting out a small promo for his new movie, ’80 with Brady’, the star quarterback mentioned two of his closest teammates, Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski, from his old stomping ground. Furthermore, the picture itself had him and Edelman repping their old team, bringing out the nostalgia for the ‘good old days’.

It seems like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback still seems to have a soft spot for his old team. He recently shared a story on his Instagram, one that showcased his old teammate from the New England Patriots. The picture very clearly showcased the duo’s nostalgic emotions.
The duo seemed to be repping their old team while wearing Patriots t-shirts and Patriots colors. The quarterback had also tagged Rob Gronkowski, making a joke about how the tight end is a great supporting actor.
The quarterback seemed to be having an amazing laugh with his ex-teammate. He was also slyly promoting his new film, 80 for Brady. Interestingly, the quarterback and his old wide receiver have had a great record. They have had a long-standing bond that is almost like a bond between brothers.
The brotherly bond between Brady and Edelman
Both Edelman and Brady were drafted by the Patriots. They had been teammates for 11 years. While Brady played QB, Edelman was a wide receiver, and one of his favorite targets. The wide receiver and Brady had an insane record while winning 3 Super Bowls together. Throughout the time they played together, the wide receiver had an impeccable record. While playing 127 games together, the WR had a whopping 6,311 receiving yards. He also had 36 touchdowns, 580 receives and 874 target receives. Edelman really shined while he played with Brady.
Even after parting ways, the duo seems like they still share the same bond they shared as teammates. Furthermore, seeing them together in Patriots jerseys was surely a blast from the past. Little moments like this seem to be the reason fans miss the time when Brady was playing for the Patriots.
