The Cincinnati Bengals have won their first-ever playoff game in 31 years. This enormous achievement happened due to the contributions of their very talented young players. Two of the players who were influential for the win were the LSU alumni duo. The quarterback Joe Burrow and the rookie wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase.

In his first-ever playoff game, Chase has impressed everyone. He even made fans across sports. The incredible Phoenix Suns superstar Chris Paul has a special request for Ja’Marr. It is always astonishing to see athletes becoming fans of each other across sports. 

Ja’Marr Chase in his first wild-card game

On Sunday, the Cincinnati Bengals took on the Las Vegas Raiders in the first game of the NFL playoffs. It was an amazing performance by the Bengals. They won the game with a score of 26-19. 

For the rookie wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase it was an unreal wild-card debut. He was unstoppable running down the field. Nobody could come in his way all throughout the game. After being paired up with his college teammate Joe Burrow, they got the Bengals their first postseason win in three decades. The 20-year-old rookie generated a lot of buzzes. He caught nine catches for 116 yards in the game.

Chase showed everyone the exact reason why he was the fifth overall pick by Cincinnati in the 2021 draft. Ja’Marr is worth every penny. The LSU duo along with the unbreakable Bengals’ defense was the end of the end for the Raiders in the playoffs. The win is a pretty big deal for the Bengals.

The incredible outing of Ja’Marr Chase impressed the 36-year-old Phoenix Suns star, Chris Paul. He was so impressed with the WR that he sent out a tweet. In the tweet, Paul wrote, “I need a Ja’Marr Chase jersey!!” Chase saw the tweet and decided to hook Chris Paul up. He replied, “gotta getcha right!” Paul made it to the NBA finals in his first year with the Suns. We all know that Chase would also love to do that.

The victory over the Raiders was impressive, but the playoffs have just begun. Their next game is against a well-rested Tennessee Titans team. It would be a tough task to triumph over Tennessee. But we know that the Bengals are prepared.
