Prior to his exit from the NFL, Colin Kaepernick was the quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers for six seasons. Some people believe his stance toward police brutality led to his exit from the NFL. On other hand, some believe that Kaepernick as a player wasn’t good enough to continue in the NFL.

Ben Shapiro appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience in 2020, Joe Rogan asked him about what he thinks about Kaepernick as an athlete. Shapiro’s response was pretty straightforward, and he didn’t shy from speaking the harsh truth.

Shapiro said, “He’s a terrific athlete, he’s not a very good quarterback. Okay so I mean he had one fantastic season he led the 49ers to the super bowl, and then like a lot of kind of one-hit wonders in sports, people kind of figured him out season two, and his QB rating started to decline.”

Ben Shapiro earlier in the podcast also said that Kaepernick was benched by Blaine Gabbert of all people. According to him, Blaine isn’t a good quarterback, and Kap getting benched by Gabbert gave an indication of his poor form. Since his exit from the 49ers, no team has given Kaepernick a chance to prove his worth. Maybe, Shapiro is right about his bold take on Colin Kaepernick as a QB.

Colin Kaepernick might get a chance to prove his critics wrong pretty soon

Not only Ben Shapiro but numerous people have also pointed out Kaepernick’s ability on the field.
