Gisele is 5 feet 11 inches tall. The model remarked in her book that she was the tallest student in her class. It often made her feel out of place. Her classmate called her Olive Oyl and bullied her for her unique looks.

Then, when she ventured into the harsh and competitive work of modeling, the Brazilian bombshell often got rejected for having a long nose. Despite facing failures for not booking shows and modeling gigs, the former Model of the Year never took the opinions of others seriously. She wrote, “If I had totally believed the bullies in my school or the people in the fashion industry who criticized my appearance, my self-doubt would have paralyzed me.”

Instead of focusing her attention on negative thoughts and opinions, she used her unique features to become one of the most successful models in the world. She realized she was a “little strange looking” but used that to her own benefit. Therefore, she became the face of many brands and a force to reckon with.
