Former NFL LB goes full swing in his opinion of the Lamar Jackson saga

According to an article by Alejandro Danois for the Baltimore Banner, former NFL LB, Aubrey Maybin, voiced his opinion strongly about the situation that pertains between the Ravens and Lamar Jackson. Maybin is of the belief that Jackson is more than just a great QB in the NFL. He represents the struggle to do more with less for the people in the city of Baltimore. Maybin feels disappointed with the fact that this entire issue has dragged on for such a long period of time. 

He said, “It’s frustrating as a former player to watch him being put into his position of being a pawn for billionaires. The fact that no franchise has extended Lamar an offer sheet, given his credentials and revolutionary talent, reeks of collusion and is indicative of the racism that is deeply embedded in the culture of the NFL.”

A league like the NFL runs on profit. And it is not uncommon for organizations to engage in illegal decisions to secure a profit. So the idea that Jackson is a victim of collusion is not a far-fetched one. But is this really the case for the former NFL MVP?
