Miami Dolphins completely owned Baltimore Ravens with their defensive strategy during their 22-10 Thursday night win. As the Dolphins contained the Lamar Jackson led offense to just three points in the first three-quarters of the game. But there was one moment that grabbed the attention of Patrick Mahomes, Kyler Murray and other NFL stars.

Although the game did not produce many eventful outcomes, but the touchdown attempt by the Dolphins offensive tackle, Robert Hunt, did catch the attention of the NFL community. However, the touchdown was deemed ineligible, but it did not fail to gain the attraction it was due.

Patrick Mahomes, Kyler Murray and Jarvis Landry reacted on the play

Many NFL stars reacted on the run made by the well-built offensive tackle as players like Patrick Mahomes, Kyler Murray and Jarvis Landry took to twitter to comment on the what seemed to be one of the best designed plays in the NFL, only until when later it was found out that it was made by the offensive tackle.

Patrick Mahomes jokingly tweeted, “Bro why did he make a play like that,” referring to the ineligibility of the touchdown thus attempted as he caught a pass that was clearly intended for running back Myles Gaskin. And since there are only six eligible receivers on the field, including the quarterback himself, Hunt, on the other hand, was not counted one of them.

Other players like Kyler Murray and Jarvis Landry gave their shot at the event in a hilarious way. But the offensive tackle himself felt embarrassed for making such a play, which eventually led to a 5-yard penalty for the Dolphins.

“I ain’t gonna lie. I’m kind of embarrassed,” Hunt said with a laugh. “The guys just laughed at me, like, ‘It doesn’t count, man.’… I also got a couple, ‘That was nice, that was the best play I’ve seen all night.'”

“I saw the ball, I didn’t want it to get intercepted, so I just grabbed it and took off running with it,” Hunt added on being asked why he made an ineligible play. “In high school, I played a little receiver, tight end. … Even though it didn’t count, it didn’t click in my head that it didn’t count, I was just trying to score.”
