Apart from achieving MVP status in their respective leagues, Lamar Jackson and Giannis Antetokounmpo have something else in common. Both of them have been spotted at All Elite Wrestling (AEW) events individually.
Lamar Jackson, a people’s favorite
Having gained a massive fan following in just a short run, the AEW has found fans even among popular athletes. NFL MVP candidate Lamar Jackson was the latest to visit the popular show ‘Dynamite’. Jackson has always been aloof about his life off the field, so it was news to many that he is a wrestling fan. However, Jackson was welcomed by 1000s as he made his appearance at The Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena. Fans cheered for Lamar on the jumbotron as, former WWE wrestler and current AEW fame, Chris Jericho acknowledged his presence. Lamar was drafted by the Ravens as the final first-round pick in 2018. Ever since he has made Baltimore his home and has also made the Ravens a solid force in the league. He was the league MVP in 2019 and is in top contention for it again this season.
Downtime for Jackson
It was the first time in a long time that he made news for off-field activities. Fans took the opportunity to have a laugh and get creative with their comments for their favorite quarterback.
