The fate of Dolphins in the 2022 seems to have turned upside down after the passer suffered concussions in Week 4 against the Bengals. Tagovailoa was making splendid gameplays in the first three weeks, but unexpected hits hampered his progress.
The Alabama product first had a terrible hit in Week 3 against the Bills. Although it felt like a concussion, the management clarified it as a hyperextended back and nothing else. He returned to the game after a while. But the real sight of worry came in the next game against the Bengals after he hit his head hard against the turf and experienced a concussion.
Right now, he is on a tour visiting outside specialists for a second opinion. Meanwhile, Broncos legend Jamal Lewis came forward with advice for the quarterback.
He asked the passer to think wisely before making any decision. Because its consequences are incredibly bad in the future. As months pass by its magnitude increases and damages the brain. “This is a silent creeper,” Lewis said of post-concussion symptoms, “that can haunt you for the rest of your life slowly. You gotta be more smart and understand that you might have a family, that you have other people that are more important than this game,” he added in an exclusive interview with TMZ.
Well, Lewis happens to be the right person to advise the passer because he had several such injuries in his short-lived career. And this very concussion he experienced in 2009 ended his future in the league. The veteran is still finding it difficult to overcome the after-effects of that injury.
Just like Lewis, Tua Tagovailoa has advice from Shannon Sharpe
The Broncos legend was quite vocal about the issue since the day the incident happened. He was quite worried about the passer and even lashed at the NFL and NFLPA on their recently released investigation report.

The veteran explained that if he was in the situation, he would consult several doctors. And if even one of them raises a pinch of concern, he would step away and retire prematurely.

“I would think long and very hard. And I will go to multiple doctors, not just one, not just two. Skip I’m gonna go to three more five doctors and see what they say,” Sharpe said through the UNDISPUTED. With so many suggestions coming in, the quarterback should certainly consider all these comments before deciding.
