Baker Mayfield did not have the greatest season with the Browns this year. The AFC North rivalry match against the Pittsburgh Steelers was a shining example. Mayfield struggled throughout the game. He was not able to make any plays. Being sacked for a total of nine times might have frustrated the quarterback as well. But the record he achieved was not for being sacked multiple times in a single game. It was something else.

During the Week 17 game, the Browns were fighting for a place in the playoffs. For that, it was an important game for them to win. Cleveland depended on their quarterback Baker Mayfield, but when the time came, he failed to deliver. Baker has not been 100% recently after dealing with some shoulder injuries. He needs to tend to the shoulder of his non-throwing arm. It could be the reason Mayfield has been able to achieve an unwanted record. The Brown lost with a score of 14-26.
