Tennessee Titans pull off a tough victory against the 49ers

AFC South leaders Tennessee Titans last night managed to pull off a last-ditch victory over the San Francisco 49ers. The Titans were 0-10 in the first two quarters of the match. However, the returning superstar AJ Brown mounted a serious comeback which helped the Titans win the match 20-17 in the last half.

AJ Brown’s inclusion not only helped in terms of scoring points but also helped lift the confidence of QB Ryan Tannehill. “It’s huge,” Tennessee quarterback Ryan Tannehill said of what Brown’s return did for his confidence. “A.J. is a heckuva player. I have so much fun throwing the ball to him. He finds a way to get open, he’s big, he’s physical. He’s great with the ball in his hands and he makes plays on the ball.”

AJ Brown delivers a stellar performance on return from injury

Despite the Titans being divisional toppers, they weren’t as impressive as their contemporaries. The reason behind it was simple – they missed their main attacking outlet, AJ Brown. After returning from a lengthy layoff, it looked like the wide receiver picked up from where he left off.

Simply put, his performance last night was record-breaking. For starters, “He accounted for 69.4% of the Titans receiving yards, the most by any NFL player in a game this season (min. 200 total team yards).” He also somehow had 8 catches on 3rd down, “the most by any player since at least 1978.” To sum it up, it was a night where it looked like he had magnets in his hand.

Post-match, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel was left speechless when asked to describe his star player’s performance.  “A.J.’s fantastic,” Titans head coach stated simply. “We expect those things from A.J.”
