The Green Bay Packers have already begun their OTAs ahead of the upcoming season. However, their quarterback Aaron Rodgers hasn’t joined the camp yet. Rodgers recently signed a massive new deal with the Packers, and his absence from the OTAs has brought more scrutiny over him.

The Green Bay Packers have a new receiving core for the next season. After their former WR1 Davante Adams was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders, this came to effect. They have a young bunch of receivers who would have definitely benefitted from the presence of their veteran QB.
The Packers are now paying Aaron Rodgers more than $50 million per year. The team's new receivers surely would benefit from his presence at OTAs. Should he be there? https://t.co/6ay6Iemjl0

Back to back mvps without otas. Even when Davante was injured the team looked like a well oiled machine. I'm not worried about whether he is gonna make it work.

Of course he should…not because of the money…but because he has a new receiving line that he needs to build up a rapport with! https://t.co/wKp7V0SBC6

For $50mil I would want him in the building 365 days a year https://t.co/mUUvZtEXN8

NFL fans had mixed opinions regarding the unavailability of Rodgers in the OTAs. Some believed that Rodgers once again is recreating last season’s scenario, and his team will suffer in the end.
If you want Rodgers in September you don’t get Rodgers in May.. that’s meditation season

Yeah, the decline is his play the last two MVP seasons is screaming for him to get more reps in OTAs. But on a more serious note, the receivers get this time to learn the playbook, and once they have a better handle, Rodgers shows up and it all works out.

On the other hand, many people believe that Rodgers is a 4-time MVP of the league for a reason, and he knows what to do, and when to do it. They claimed that there is still a lot of time left for the season to start, and Rodgers will ultimately figure it out to excel with his new and young WR core.
Some fans pointed out that this is the time for the new WRs to learn the system and the routes. Once they are well aware of it, Aaron Rodgers can simply hop in and help them to be a better version of themselves.
Can Aaron Rodgers take the Packers to another Super Bowl?
There is no doubt about Aaron Rodgers’s talent, and skills on the football field. However, one thing that does hinder him is the lack of multiple Super Bowl wins.

He has won the Super Bowl only once in his entire career. It has been eleven years since he took the Packers to the Super Bowl. He has won multiple MVP awards in the league and has been among the top 3 players every season, still, he hasn’t been able to take his team to the big stage.
The situation is very different now. The Packers have new young talent on the roster like Christian Watson, who could bring a breath of fresh air to the team. Aaron will also be locked in the upcoming season after he had an infamous meltdown against the 49ers in the NFC Divisional Round game at home last season.

They certainly have a chance of making the Super Bowl like every year, but they have to take care of many things, unlike last season.
