“Atta Girl..”: Without Amendola or Edelman and No Gronk in Sight, Tom Brady Finds an Uncanny Replacement to Practice With Post Retirement

In the months since Tom Brady’s retirement from the NFL in February 2023, the former Patriots man had the opportunity to connect with his family and kids. Despite getting divorced in the final months of 2022, Brady has come forward with a positive approach to life, as he plays with his kids, and spends time with his mother.

But it doesn’t mean he relinquished his interest in the Ellipsoidal ball. The man that spent over 2 decades playing football will find it hard to let go habits of old. And in the absence of his former teammates to throw a ball to, Brady has found a partner in football right inside his home.

Tom Brady finds training partner at home

It’s hard being a retired footballer in the present day. And Tom Brady has experienced that personally, as he came out of retirement just days after announcing it. Meanwhile, his love for football stays intact. So much so that he has found a partner in crime in his daughter to practice at home.

In a recent story uploaded by Tom Brady on Instagram, he shares a clip of his daughter with him in the pool. The duo would be playing catch with the football as Brady would throw passes to the makeshift receiver in Vivian. While former teammates Edelman, Gronk, and Amendola have retired, their lack of presence would only push his daughter into the limelight to step in as Brady’s training partner.

Brady would remark his daughter with praise for her strong throw and say, “Atta Girl, That’s what I want…” Although she’d miss the final receive from Brady, her performance was enough to draw a comparison with Edelman in the story’s caption. Meanwhile, as he continues to bond and engage with his kids, the former Bucs man would double down on the intent. As he continues to take them on vacations and spend time together with them.

Tom Brady goes from a skillful QB to a skillful dad

Back in June, Brady would continue his adventure of spending more time with his kids. And his intent would see him take a trip to Europe with his kids and share pictures with them on his IG handle. Although the most recent excursion together, this would not be the sole trip they took together this year. As Vivian, Jack, and Benjamin joined their father on a trip to the beach house at the end of March.

The kids would participate in watersports in a fun outing as they jumped on the jet-ski for a ride around. This would also inspire the Brady x Barbie meme just weeks later. As one of the posts from Brady would fuel a Barbie meme following the release of the trailer in April.

Maybe Brady has been missing football and might yet reconsider his retirement. But the time he has spent with his kids so far will surely advocate for more time between the kids and the NFL superstar.
