Aaron Rodgers needs his men to step up
With an experience of 18 seasons, the superstar knows the ifs and buts in the game. However, he cannot single-handedly take his side home in the NFL. As a result, he readily accepted a mentorship role for the youngsters to get them comfortable with their game. However, it did not start on a promising note in game one.
“Yeah. At first, I thought he was going to, in a roundabout way, blame the receivers for the fact that they didn’t have a perfect routine against a regional rival. At least he acknowledges that it is on him to a certain extent that had the fumble. He got devoured by Vilkins defenders at a time when it felt like hackers were trying to push the pendulum the other way,” said Simms.
Most of the talk was leveled against the superstar as he missed the off-season program. Previously, he had missed practicing on Saturdays ahead of the NFL clash. Elaborating on it, the NFL analyst believed Rodgers should spend more time with the young guns.
“This is why he should have been there for the off-season program. This is why he should have taken his receivers to Peru for some Ayahuasca. You got to get to the point where your windows are,” said the expert.
