The Vikings just can’t seem to get a grip on their regular season matches. The recent match between the Vikings and the Eagles has left Kirk Cousins confused. The Minnesota Vikings haven’t won a single match since the regular season start and this is going to cost them. Even though the match-up with the Philadelphia Eagles was close, the Vikings lost to the Eagles with a final score of 36-24.
As it stands, the Vikings have been struggling as they a hold 0-2 loss record. First against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the present game against the Eagles. There is a lot of pressure on Kirk Cousins to perform in the next game. However, he addresses this loss in the post-game press conference and gives some insights as to what happened and where the team could do better.
Kirk Cousins Reflects

In the post-game press conference, Kirk Cousins reflects on what could have been done better to win this match. Although there were a significant number of turnovers, Cousins still thinks that the team did a good job. Cousins was then asked how surprising the turnovers had been to which he replied that the team would have to study these turnovers to see if there is a pattern and that each turnover is its own entity. He also addressed that the team must go through each turnover on a case-by-case basis.
Cousins points out his limitations as a Quarterback and addresses the sack fumble and mentions that he cannot keep both his hands on the ball as he must pass it as well. Cousins said that he will try and hold on to the ball with both hands as much as he can. Adding further to this, Cousins mentioned that he couldn’t see the defense coming at him because he was blindsided.
The conversation then shifts to Justin Jefferson when Cousins is asked as to why he has been so productive. He mentions how the other teams know that the wide receiver must be covered extensively, and they must always keep their eyes on him as he praises the coaching staff for his training. Justin Jefferson and Kirk Cousins are a crazy duo although they may not have been able to perform this time. We will now see them in their next game against the LA Chargers.

Justin Jefferson is hailed as one of the most important wide receivers in the league by many. His ability to complete the plays and score even when he is guarded is on par with some of the best receivers out there. A lot of athletes can’t make the plays JJ makes. These players have had their moments on the field, but they need to take the team out of a slump.

Even though they are having a streak of bad luck as we speak, they can still flip the table in the next game against the LA Chargers. The next game would be pressuring for both teams as they have struggled to win a single match. The Chargers lost to the Dolphins in their last game, which was very close.
