The Super Bowl LVII turned out to be a classic with a nail-biting finish. But it is the aftermath of the clash that turned a little more interesting. Drake secured a whopping $700K, all thanks to Patrick Mahomes. And the former wide receiver Antonio Brown took the opportunity to plugin Kanye West via Instagram to remind the fans that the ‘NFL is scripted’.
Rigging accusations are nothing new as far as the NFL world is concerned. But a former player jumping on the bandwagon is something that may come as a surprise to many fans.

The former wide receiver, Antonio Brown, shared an old Kanye West interview in which the musician says that the ‘NFL is rigged’. West talked about the 2021 Super Bowl, which featured this season’s winner Patrick Mahomes on the losing side. And he was of the opinion that the NFL gave Tom Brady his seventh Super Bowl ring at the expense of Mahomes.
“The conversation is like; you have a long career ahead of you. We need our boy to get seven rings,” West said in the interview clip shared by AB.

But one thing that has to be noted here is that Brown himself was a part of the winning team that day. He won the Super Bowl ring as part of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers team in 2021. It is certainly an interesting way to downplay one’s own achievements.
Despite the accusations made by AB and Kanye, the Super Bowl LVII was a cracker. And all thanks to Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, West’s rival Drake is $700K richer.
Drake wins big after Patrick Mahomes masterclass
The Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles went toe to toe in their Super Bowl showdown on Sunday. Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs comeback in the fourth quarter to tie the game up, from a 27-21 deficit to 35 a-piece. And with less than 10 seconds left on the clock, Harrison Butker scored a field goal to break the tie and put the Vince Lombardi trophy in the bag.
Rapper Drake had his money on Mahomes and Co. for the big game. And the masterclass by the Chiefs QB left him $700K richer on his bets. So Mahomes and the Chiefs weren’t alone in the win.

The NFL MVP also won the Super Bowl MVP award, becoming the first player to do so since Kurt Warner in the 1999 season. He won’t mind anyone saying the league is rigged, as he would be busy celebrating with his team and family.

But the big question is, why is AB discrediting his own Super Bowl win?
