Deion Sanders led the Colorado Buffaloes to a 3-0 start this season capturing the eyes of the entire college football world. Sanders took the Colorado job with intentions of turning a team that won only one game during the last season into a playoff contender. Doing so required making tough decisions. As soon as “Coach Prime” arrived in Boulder, he took over the program, turning things around.

However, he dealt with some criticism for the tactics he used with players from the old regime as he flipped over the entire roster. By all means The psychological warfare has started off the field and its impact will be felt on the field.

What’s Coach Prime’s Intimidation Factor?

Deion Sanders is known for speaking his mind. His fiery speeches tend to motivate players, but the impact is far more than just the encouragement. With all his pre-game antics, he can come across as pretty intimidating.

In an interview with ’60 minutes’ on Sunday, when asked if he was the change agent, he gave a savage reply. Sanders said, “I truly make a difference. I make folks nervous, man, get folks moving in their seat. I get folks twirling their thumbs, get them thinking and second guessing.

To add to that, he also talked about his style that inspires people, “You know, have you ever been so clean that you walked in and somebody looked down at you, then they looked at themselves. They had to check themselves because you were so clean. I have that effect”.

Nevertheless, his mind games and tactics are in order as he is getting the job done on the field. After bringing the Colorado program back to relevancy, it’s quite evident that coaches are fearing him as the football season gets deeper.

Colorado outdid Colorado State, 43-35, in overtime on Saturday night. The third straight win this season is already more than double the wins they had last season. Shedeur Sanders finished at 348 yards with four touchdowns and 1 interception. Travis Hunter got injured in the first half and sat out the entire second half.

With the newfound energy, the Buffs are not in the mood to stop. They are finding ways to win the game despite being down for two quarters. It can all be credited to Shedeur in the center. Just like his father, he is always looking to make an impact.

With the Oregon Ducks challenge next Saturday, the Buffs will look to work on their shortcomings and overcome it. For a victory against the Ducks will strengthen their chances for a playoff position later in the season. Will the buffaloes be able to keep a clean slate? What do you think?
