While everyone is a fan of Hollywood, Hollywood is a fan of the NFL. There have been multiple instances of different Hollywood bigshots professing their love for NFL teams and players. However, the one that stands out the most is the legendary Fonz a.k.a Henry Winkler. The Fonz appeared on ‘The Rich Eisen Show’ and cracked jokes about him playing in the NFL and getting flattened.

Furthermore, he also spoke about his love for Patrick Mahomes from the Kansas City Chiefs. He further extended a very warm invitation to the quarterback. The Fonz was not shy in showing his enthusiasm for the NFL as well as his favorite players.

Henry Winkler: The NFL comedian

There are multiple Hollywood NFL fans that have expressed their love for different teams and players. Jeremy Renner for one has expressed his love for the 49ers. Similarly, The Fonz has expressed his love for the NFL. On the Rich Eisen show, he spoke about his favorite player and he also joked about his size and how he would fair in the field.

The Fonz questioned how players continuously take hits while playing for 40 long minutes. He also went on to make a joke with his question and said, “How do you get up once you are hit by either one or more of those gigantic human beings flying through the air? Yes, how do you as a short Jew I would be I, I would be knocked into and impressed into the grass.” He joked about his own short stature and his chances of surviving on the field. Winkler also went on and on about his favorite player in the league, Patrick Mahomes. He also seemingly extended a dinner invitation to the quarterback.

Mahomes and The Fonz: A budding bromance

The Fonz seems to be obsessed with the Chiefs quarterback. Although an LA native, Winkler has taken a liking to the way Mahomes performs on the field and his intensity. He even mentioned the on-field talents of Mahomes that Fonz enjoyed watching. Furthermore, he also extended a dinner invitation to the quarterback and said, “If Patrick is listening I’d like to you know uh we make a great chicken stuffed with ricotta and spinach yes with an unbelievable reduction it can be yours uh if you’re here in L.A.”

The Fonz has shown his love for the NFL, Patrick Mahomes, and his football-related humor. It only remains to be seen if Mahomes does indeed take up Winkler on his invitation for dinner.
