It is said that aim for the stars so one at least hits the moon and a New York Giants QB is a great example of just that. The young man aspired to get around $45 million from the franchise on the contract extension. While he may not have gotten the exact amount, he has certainly hit a jackpot with the Giants.

Jones might be happy with the deal, but it has certainly enraged the fans watching the game. While some say that he has robbed the Giants, others just hope it works out for them. Here are some fan reactions.
“Someone arrest that man. He robbed the Giants,” a fan wrote in the comments.
“Giants don’t got money to be paying Danny dimes like that,” another fan said.
“15 TD gets you 160 mil. What a joke,” a fan commented.
“Bruh he actually got the bag,” another fan couldn’t control their laughter.
“NFC East fans having a parade inside their city,” a fan said.
“I hope it works out for them,” another fan could just hope.
The Giants QB wanted a contract in the region of what Patrick Mahomes has. The Super Bowl champion signed a 10-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs worth $450 million back in 2020. But does Jones’ performance warrant that kind of treatment?

A performance worth the contract?
Daniel Jones had a decent 2022 season with the Giants. He led the team to the postseason with a 9-7-1 overall record. And he even won a playoff game while he was at it against the NFC North champions, the Minnesota Vikings. The Giants lost the divisional round to the eventual NFC champions, the Philadelphia Eagles but Jones did win the fans’ hearts with his performance in the year.
No doubt the team did well, but Jones’ individual numbers are just decent. He threw 3,205 passing yards in the regular season with just 15 touchdown passes. Not the numbers one would expect from an elite QB.
