Among the current active defensive players, JJ Watt holds a special place in the hearts of NFL fans. He rose to greatness after facing several setbacks throughout the journey. One such incident that crippled Watt and his abilities was during the 2016’s playoff game against Kansas City. Although he failed miserably in executing his plans, the veteran received a piece of advice from his dear friend and bodybuilding legend, Arnold Schwarzenegger, to get going.

It was the time when JJ Watt was playing for the Houston Texans, and the playoff game was against the Chiefs. Not only did they lose, but faced defeat in a humiliating manner with a score of 30-0. Although he recorded one tackle, Watt was taken to the locker room after suffering a serious injury. The defensive end tried his best to get back on the field, but after the examination, he could not play.

“It was terrible to not be out there with my teammates,” Watt said. “I have been trying to do whatever I possibly can to be out there with them. But there comes a time when you are doing more harm than good,” he added.

After the match-up, Watt posted a sorry message on Twitter and thanked fans for their support. Reacting to his comments, Arnold Schwarzenegger came forward by recording a video of his own. “Hey J J. You and Texans were fantastic,” he said.

“Just remember one thing. You didn’t lose today. I’ll tell you why, because losers stay down. And I know you and the Texans always get up. That’s why you’re the winners and you always would be winners. So get going again, get up, put some fire in this team and march forward.” the former California governor motivated Watt and the team.
