Arizona Cardinals quarterback, Kyler Murray, enjoyed a decent outing over the course of the 2020 NFL season. The former Oklahoma Sooners man finished with 3,971 passing yards and 26 passing TDs last year. That was an improvement of 200+ yards and 6 touchdowns from the year before.
He also rushed for 819 yards over the course of the regular season. The Cardinals starlet had 11 rushing TDs, which was 7 more than the year before. Hence, Murray’s overall production rate over the 2020 NFL season impressed Kliff Kingsbury.

Murray also limited his turnovers and kept his interception tally at 12, the same as in 2019. That is one area the quarterback must continue to work on in the coming months. He needs to make the jump from ‘good’ to ‘great’ in year 3 as the Cardinals continue to knock on the door of the NFL Playoffs.

He said, “I want to make sure we continue his progression, make sure we are taking the next step. To be able to do what he’s done from Year 1 to Year 2 without an offseason, I’m excited to see where it heads next. I think we all know the talent is immense, and he has a chance to be as good as anybody in this league.”
“Kyler is very confident. Kyler knows what he can be in this league and what he can be moving forward. But to have a guy like that kind of validate it and say, ‘Hey, I’ve watched you, I know what you have brewing out there, I know what you can be,’ a guy with probably limited years left in his career and wanting to win a championship and chooses the quarterback, that’s pretty impressive and that’s really high praise,” Kingsbury concluded on the team’s official website.
