Aaron Donald caused quite a few heartbeats to skip in the Los Angeles area this week. A social media mishap led to massive panic among the LA Rams‘ fanbase. And AD’s wife, Erica Donald, couldn’t help but laugh at the entire confusion arising from a botched bio update. However, fans did not find this funny and were seriously worried.

Widely considered to be one of the greatest defensive tackles to have ever played the game, the LA crowd didn’t expect to see the word ‘former’ preceding Aaron Donald’s usual ‘NFL D Linemen for the Rams’ bio on his social media platforms.

Aaron Donald’s defensive prowess was instrumental in the 23-20 Super Bowl win against Joe Burrow’s Cincinnati Bengals in February. Along with Von Miller, AD formed a pass-rushing partnership, which was a nightmare for opposition quarterbacks. Donald and Miller both had 2 sacks each against Burrow in the championship game. However, after Von Miller’s departure for Buffalo this off-season, AD is left to man the charge all alone.

Also, some fans thought maybe the change in bio was an indirect retirement announcement. Besides, Aaron Donald has missed the last few weeks of game action due to a high ankle sprain. And the 31-year-old DPOY and 9-year veteran won’t surprise many if he hung up his cleats tomorrow.
