Winning is not about being the first, it is a mindset. Cross-sports legend Deion Sanders- AKA ?Prime Time? and now, Colorado?s Coach Prime, sure knows a thing or two about winning. After taking on the role of head coach in 2021, he was able to completely revamp the Colorado Buffalos’ prominence both on and off the football field, following his winning streak.
Colorados? merchandise sales have surged by approximately 525% since 2021. September has been recorded as the second-highest-grossing month ever on the school store’s website. December remains at the top, coinciding with Sanders’ initial arrival in Colorado from Jackson State. Whether it is his dapper sense of style, or ?electric? personality, or his words of wisdom, Prime Time has successfully attracted ample attention throughout the 1990s up until today. He is, however, no gatekeeper and freely shares the secrets to his success on his social media, with millions taking note.?

On an episode of ?Let?s Go!? [Season III] co-hosted by former Arizona Cardinals star Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray, the legendary quarterback, Tom Brady got candid about the spirit of winning. “Everybody wants to win”, he said, but not everyone is willing to put in what it takes to win. Which rings like gospel truth. In a recent post on Instagram, Coach Prime addressed the concept of success and disclosed the ingredients to achieving a full-proof winning streak.

According to the post, winning comprises, ?Consistency, Focus, Details, Solution and hard Work.? A winner is not satisfied by winning just once, he has to keep winning. It is a state of mind that ?don’t & wont accept complacency any form,? which compels them to set newer and higher expectations with each win and never settle for mediocrity. ?Just because you got there 1st doesn’t mean u won, it just means u got there 1st,? One is not a winner until one can achieve consistency in winning, else the win is just by chance and not by character.?
Since assuming office in September 2021 Deion Sanders has been able to completely transform the football landscape of a team that has struggled to achieve considerable heights and prominence in the past. Hiring the new head coach must have been pricy but as is reflected by recent data, he is worth every penny.

Prime Time can sell and can be sold too. He has been a sell-out all throughout the games his team played. Under Sanders’ leadership and with a revamped roster, the Buffaloes have become a hot ticket. They have already sold out four games, including the matchup against Colorado State, and their upcoming game against Oregon State on November 4th is nearing full capacity. If the Arizona game on November 11th is sold out, it would become a historic milestone as the first time in the school’s history that all six home games were sold out.
