Patrick Mahomes laid hands on his second Super Bowl MVP and Lombardi in four years. And his celebrations during the Chiefs’ parade turned some heads. However, recently retired and seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady doesn’t see anything wrong in celebrating the Mahomes’ way.

The Kansas City Chiefs had a blowout parade after an adversity-ridden season, particularly towards the end. And Chiefs Kingdom had a reason to celebrate. Their quarterback created quite the noise, and the fans flocked for some post-season entertainment in the Missouri cold. Tom Brady relates.

What did Patrick Mahomes do at the parade?

No. 15 led the Chiefs to the no. 1 seed in the AFC during the regular season and earned himself his second league MVP award. However, things took a turn in the playoffs. Patrick injured his right ankle in the divisional round against the Jacksonville Jaguars. And overcoming the mighty Bengals and the Philadelphia Eagles within the next month was Mahomes’ Herculean Peak.

And he celebrated with the same ferocity, grabbing a passionate kiss with his wife Brittany Mahomes. Mahomes chugged down more than twenty beers and almost fell off the parade bus at one point. However, the tipping point had to be when Mahomes grabbed a picture with some parade rooter and left the coveted Vince Lombardi trophy in the hands of one lucky Chiefs fan.

Former Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady didn’t find anything wrong with this, having had his fair share of Super Bowl celebration moments himself. “Looks like appropriate parade behavior to me,” he tweeted. Mahomes replied to Brady’s backing with three laughing emojis.

Mahomes may be five Super Bowl rings and 3 Super Bowl MVPs behind TB12 in on-field accomplishments. However, his championship celebration is definitely matching up to Brady’s.

The NFL world will not forget Tom Brady and the Buccaneers’ celebrations after Super Bowl LV anytime soon. After Brady’s seventh, the team took the parade on water. At one point during the craziness, Tampa Tom displayed his throwing skills and lobbed the Lombardi Trophy to teammate Rob Gronkowski’s boat.

Brady was also inebriated to the point where he needed help to walk straight. And fans loved the hilarious celebration sights. However, Patrick’s fan base wasn’t as lenient and giving.
