It seems that Brown has shifted his focus to building his asset portfolio and expanding his horizons beyond football.
The former NFL WR has not graced the field after his unceremonious walkout from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Antonio Brown has remained a stagnant subject of controversy and is not stopping either. But AB is now taking a new leap in terms of asset acquisition and development.

Multiple reports indicate that Antonio Brown would become a football team owner. The former NFL wide receiver would join the Albany Empire’s ownership group. It is a team of the National Arena League, an indoor football league. The team is yet to announce the decision, and they could do the signing on Thursday at 10 am ET.

The Albany Empire has a significant position in the former All-Pro receiver’s heart. Brown’s father, Eddie, competed for the team in the 1990s when the franchise was the Albany Firebirds. Both father and son would be involved in the group. Antonio Brown also hinted at an enormous announcement on Twitter after landing in Albany, NY.

Brown’s ownership buzz is coming after the WR hinted he would be retiring for good. The reports had just one word of him, saying “Legacy.” If the reports are accurate, the fans may not see more action from Mr. Big Chest. But does he count as a future Hall of Famer?

There are no doubts about Antonio Brown’s abilities. The WR is a solidified legend since his beginnings with the Pittsburgh Steelers. His accolades could say the least, as Brown has set records and is a Super Bowl champion.

However, in terms of his antics, they could be a hurdle to his already-solid career. While he has phenomenal numbers, Brown could have extended his career with more record-setting seasons to establish himself for Canton, Ohio. Shenanigans aside, he could become a first-ballot Hall of Famer.
