Tampa Bay Buccaneers started this season on a roll, raking up five consecutive wins. Ever since then, they seem to have fallen off a cliff winning only 1 game in their last three matches.
After the frustrating 29-19 loss against the Washington Football club, the Tampa Bay offence has come under immense scrutiny. ICYMI: Antonio Brown has been out for weeks because of an ankle sprain
Nearly three weeks ago, the injury prone Antonio Brown succumbed to yet another setback. Before the unfortunate injury, the wide receiver was averaging a team-best 14.4 yards per catch. Back then, head coach Bruce Arians had revealed that the wide receiver has an ankle sprain.
The same was also reported by reliable NFL journalist Rick Stroud. Back then, the Bucs coach couldn’t go into the minutes of the injury; a stance which is still the same. Despite the issue being an ankle sprain, the location of the injury, as per Arians, was “around his heel”. Anyways, his injury proved to be a detrimental blow as the Bucs have seen a dip in their offensive returns.
Bucs coach Bruce Arians says Antonio Brown is dealing with an ankle sprain “but it’s around his heel” and indicated there’s no way to know how long he will be out.

Tampa Bay’s first choice Wide Receiver is back, but may not be ready in time for the next match
First things first, let us start with the good news. In a recent online clip uploaded by Pewter Reports, Brown was seen back on the field without his walking boot at a workout on Thursday, albeit it was not an official practise. In the video, the wide receiver can also be seen chatting and doing a throw run-down with the legendary Tom Brady.
Where there is good, there is also bad. According to CBS Sports’ Josina Anderson, Antonio Brown has a “far way to go” to be healthy. Due to this revelation, it is very hard to predict if he will be ready before Bucs’ Monday night fixture.
