In a recent Twitter post on Sunday, Antonio Brown caught everyone by surprise when he extended a one-day contract offer to NFL star Cam Newton. The offer was unexpected, especially considering Newton’s long-standing connection with his former team, Carolina Panthers. He spammed the internet to recruit Newton as soon as possible.

Brown’s tweet read, ?If anybody seen @CameronNewton let him know he haven?t thrown me a touchdown in a game yet and now we finally can make it happen @thealbanyempir 6/16/23 in Albany nyc !? He went on to add, ?I?m offering Cam 150k one game play with me please spam his account ??? #AceBoogieToAB.? In addition to this tweet, Antonio Brown has been relentless in his recruitment plan for Cam Newton.

Utilizing his social media account, Brown has taken to posting pictures of himself with Newton, actively spamming the internet with their images. Brown’s unexpected offer to Newton showcases his eagerness to form a dynamic partnership on the field.

With Newton’s impressive records of holding the most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback (75) and the most passing yards by a quarterback in his first two games (854) in NFL history, his recruitment by the Empire could potentially provide a much-needed boost to the team’s gameplay. While Brown initially expressed his intentions for a comeback in the remaining games after the payroll issue, he on Saturday postponed his Arena football debut.

Why Brown postponed his debut?

Former football wide receiver Brown is currently affiliated with the National Arena League (NAL) as a wide receiver and, as reported by Marca, holds a co-ownership position with the Albany Empire. Initially, Brown had expressed his intention to play for the Albany Empire in an upcoming National Arena League game, after the money-cut drama and unsuccessful debut.

However, he decided against it, citing his desire not to set a negative example for the team.
