He was caught up by the TMZ crew on Friday outside Via Allora in Beverly Hills. While describing the current status of his relationship with Brady, he said, “Listen, I love Tom. That’s my guy. Don’t get it twisted. A lot of words were taken out of substance.”
He also continues saying that Brady was through all his tough periods his only great friend. He adds, “He’s a G.O.A.T. Great player. Great teammate.” His recent comments do really bring a lot of things he said last week into focus.

Tom Brady and Antonio Brown: A Complex Relationship
The statements from Brown are full of contradictions from the ones he made during his appearance on the Full Send Podcast. He said during his appearance on the show that Brady was only being concerned about AB’s performances. According to him, Brady only was his friend because he was a great talented player. He also did accuse Brady of using him for his own end of needs.

Brown also went in on Brady not using his influence to give AB a better contract with the Buccaneers. Retrospectively, his statements of the past look something he might have said when he was emotionally charged. He was in the midst of a misdirected anger with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers franchise.

The talented wideout was just reeling from both mental unrest and huge monetary loss by walking away. A self-inflicted loss, Brown did reach the realization that it wasn’t Brady who was the culprit. The reply to the TMZ reporter questions only reflects this even further. The optics don’t look any better for Brown but this only further boosts Tom Brady and his stellar leadership reputation.
